Description

House. Late C17/early C18. Squared coursed limestone with Colleyweston slate roof. Originally 3-unit plan with through passage. 2 storeys with attic. 4-window range of C19 casements under wood lintels. 2-windows to ground floor left are canted bays with glazing bars, lean-to roofs and ashlar bases. C20 door under wood lintel to left of centre and arch-head door opening, now bow window, to right of centre. 3 flat-topped roof dormers with casement windows. Ashlar gable parapets and brick and ashlar stacks at ridge and ends. Interior noted as having open fireplace with bressumer, ceiling beams, and some original doors to attic. Formerly The New Inn public house.
