Description
Manor House. Early C18. Ironstone ashlar, slate roof, stone end and ridge stacks. 3-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic; 5-window range. Central 6-panel door in bolection-moulded stone frame with broken segmental pediment above framing cherub's head. Wood mullion and transom windows with moulded stone sills and surrounds. Storey bands at first and attic floor levels. Chamfered plinth and quoins. Stone coped gables with kneelers. Single-storey C19 kitchen extension to rear. Interior has fine early C18 staircase with fat turned balusters, possibly not in original position. Large moulded stone fireplace in hall.
