Description
Two houses. Mid C17. Lias now rendered at front with thatched roof. Each of 2-unit plan. No.8 has a lobby entry. Single storey with attic. Together comprising a 5-window range of casements with leaded lights. Ground floor to extreme right has a 4-light stone mullion window. No.8 has a C20 door and hood to right. Ashlar gable parapets; 2 eyebrow dormers to right. Brick stacks at ridge and end. Entrance to No.10 at rear. Interior: Room to left of entrance to No.8 has open fireplace with bressumer; stopped chamfered ceiling beams. C18 plank and panelled doors and plank window shutters. Some original stud screens at first floor. Dogleg stair. Collar roof truss.
