Description
House. Early C18. Coursed ironstone, thatch roof, brick end and ridge stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys. Principal range facing street has front door in C20 gabled porch flanked by 3-light casement windows; two 2-light casements to first floor. Return wing has one 2-light casement window to ground and first floor, and plank door with timber lintel to left of gable end facing street with 3-light shop window to right; a 2-light leaded window to first floor. All windows have timber lintels. Quoins and stone coped gables with kneelers. To right side of projecting wing, a barn with carriage way with timber wheel in roof. Interior has stop-chamfered spine beams and open fireplace with chamfered bressumer.
