Description
Cottage. Dated 1681. Coursed ironstone rubble, pantile roof, brick ridge stacks. 3-unit plan. 2 storeys; 3-window range. Main front to garden has plank door with gabled hood to left of centre with a 2-light casement window to left, a 3-light casement to right, a small stone-framed one-light window to centre. A plank door to right of centre and 3-light casement window to far right. A three-light casement window to first floor left. Windows have timber lintels. Two dormer windows to right. Left gable end has small square datestone in gable inscribed TS/1681 framed by scrolls and with flowers to corners. Back wall to street shows blocked windows and various 1-light windows. Stone coped gable to left end.
