Description

House, now flats. Early and mid C19. Squared coursed limestone with slate roof. Irregular T-shape plan. 2 storeys. Main front of 4-window range of unhorned sash windows with glazing bars under gauged stone heads. Ground and first floor windows to far right are blind. C20 door has reeded wood surround. Raised string course between floors. Cross wing to left is probably mid C19 and has no window. Elevation to left has C19 casements and 2 panelled doors. Rear elevation has gabled wing breaking forward to centre with early C20 bay window, and ashlar gable parapets. Interior noted as having staircase with stick balusters. Said to have datestone at roof level 1699, probably reset. Included for group value.
