Description
House now 2 dwellings. Probably late C17 and mid C18. Squared coursed and regular coursed limestone with thatch roof. Originally probably 2-unit lobby entry plan then 4 units. Single storey with attic. 5-window range of C19 style casements under wood lintels. 2 similar casements, to attic, one under eyebrow dormers. C20 casement, under eaves, to left. C20 door, with lean-to hood, to left of centre. 2 bays to left, now forming Rosebank Cottage, break forward and are probably of a later build. Brick and stone stacks at ridge. Entrance to Rosebank Cottage is in C20 extension to rear. Interiors not inspected but noted as having open fireplaces, with bressumers, and ceiling beams.
