Description

Farmhouse. Late C18 with earlier origins and alterations and additions of 1909. Coursed squared ironstone, slate roof, brick end and ridge stacks. 3-unit plan. 2-storey, 4-window range. 6-panel, part-glazed door to left of centre with fanlight, panelled reveals and pilastered wood surround with open pediment. Canted bay windows flank door with 12-pane sashes to front, 8-panes to sides. 16-pane sash to ground floor right and 12-pane sashes to first floor all with flat-arched heads and keyblocks. Quoins, chamfered stone eaves and stone-coped gabled with kneelers. Datestone in left gable inscribed HCD/1909. Interior has moulded spine beam.
