Description
House, now 3 dwellings. Late C17 and C19. Regular coursed limestone with C19 pantile roofs. Orignally 2-unit plan. 2 storeys with attic. Together comprising a 3-window range of C20 leaded casements. Ashlar gable parapets and kneelers and large central stone stack with diagonal brick flues. C20 stack at end. No.1 is a C19 single-unit, single-storey extension to left with attic, in similar style to main house. C20 lean-to to right. C20 entrances to side and rear. Illegible datestone in right gable said to be 1666. Interior of No.9 has ceiling beams and remains of open fireplace. Included for group value.
