Description
Chest tomb. Early C19. Limestone. Square on moulded plinth with low pedimented top. Pedimented over each side and filled with anthemion flanked by leaf trails. Signed on lower left of south side: Baseley of Daventry. The inscriptions to each side are to members of the Chapmen family, the earliest to south side commemorating Thomas Chapman d.1823 aged 14.
