Description

House. Dated 1747. Coursed squared ironstone, old tile roof, brick end stacks. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. Central part-glazed door with overlight and reeded wood surround with cornice hood. 16-pane sash windows to ground and first floors with flat-arched heads and keyblocks except for that to ground floor right which has later inserted timber lintel. Chamfered plinth, storey band, moulded stone eaves, quoins and stone-coped gables with kneelers. Datestone in right gable inscribed RE/1747. Interior noted as having chamfered spine beams and large open fireplace with chamfered bressumer.
