Description
Statue. Early C18. Limestone. Female figure with a cornucopia of fruit representing "Summer". Moulded ironstone plinth. Badly eroded. Part of a group of statues of "The Seasons" with a central figure of "Atlas" (q.v.). Noted as having belonged to a formal garden layout of c.1700 at the Manor House (q.v.). (C.
