Description
2 houses. Datestone S.OB 1831, Stafford-O'Brien family of Blatherwyke Hall. Squared coursed limestone with Welsh slate roof. Originally each probably of 2-unit plans forming an L-shape range. Single storey with attic. Main front of 3 bays with flanking bays breaking forward slightly. Central C20 door with 4-centred arch-head and Gothick glazing bars. Small square-head window to left of door. Casement windows in flanking bays have 4-centred arch-heads and Gothic glazing bars. Door and window openings have ashlar surrounds. 3 eaves dormers have casement windows with glazing bars and shallow gabled roofs. Overhanging eaves and hipped roofs to flanking bays. Ashlar stack at ridge. Elevation to left has a similar 2-window range with central door. Leaded casement under eaves to far left. C20 flat roofed eaves dormer. Interior not inspected.
