Description

Manor house, now 2 dwellings. Datestone C/IE/MDCCXX, extended mid C19. Squared coursed limestone with ashlar façade and Colleyweston slate roof. Originally T-shape with stair turret, now L-shape plan. 2 storeys with attic. 6-window range of C19 sash windows in original openings under gauged stone heads with keyblocks. 4-panel door, to left of centre, has semi-circular fanlight, plain wood pilasters and triangular dentilled pediment. Chamfered plinth and raised band between floors. 3 hipped roof dormers with C19 sash windows, ashlar gable parapets and kneelers and ashlar ridge and end stacks with moulded cornices. Rear elevation has tall arch head window, now blocked. Rear wing extended mid C19 and has various C19 sash and casement windows. Interior not inspected but noted as having early C18 fireplace with moulded stone surround and original roof structure to main range.
