Description

House. Early C19 modified mid/late C19. Squared coursed limestone with ashlar facades and Welsh slate roof. Double depth plan. 2 storeys. Garden front is a 3-window range of unhorned sash window with glazing bars under gauged stone heads. Central, part-glazed, door under similar head. Cast iron verandah at ground floor has 8 supports and convex lead roof. Main house has hipped roof with stone stacks rising from flanking slopes. Entrance front, to right of garden front and abutting road, has mid/ late C19 panelled door with stone surround and side lights, all under cast iron verandah, with 3 supports. One window range of sash windows, to left of entrance is similar to garden front. C20 single-storey extensions and modifications to rear. Interior not inspected but noted as having mid/late C19 staircase. Included for group value.
