Description
House. Late C17. Remodelled and cased in brick c.1840. Stone walls, now faced with red and blue brick in chequer pattern, tile roof, brick stacks. 2 storeys and attic; 4 bays. Doorway in second bay from left has brick surround with arched head, 3-panel door and flat timber hood on brackets. 4-pane sash window to left in arched brick surround, 2 similar windows to right, and similar windows on the first floor. String course at first floor level, brick dentil cornice. Stone coped gable ends with kneelers. Interior: 2 ground floor rooms each have set of chamfered beams and open fireplace with timber bressumer and C19-C20 grate.
