Description
Public house. Mid C18. Squared coursed lias with slate roof laid to diminishing courses. Originally 2-unit plan. 2 storeys with attic. 3-window range of early C20 casements in original openings under gauged stone arches. C19 central stone porch with part-glazed doors. Moulded stone cornice and 3 flat-topped roof dormers with casements. Ashlar gable parapets and kneelers and brick stacks at ridge and ends. Barn attached to left has blocked carriage arch. Rear is similar with C20 extensions. Interior not inspected. Originally known as The Globe.
