Description
2 houses. C17 mid C18 and C19. Squared coursed limestone with thatch and Collyweston and Welsh slate roofs. Originally one- and 2-unit plans. 2 storeys. Irregular 2-window range of C19 casement windows at ground floor and horizontal sliding sash windows at first floor, all under wood lintels. Ground floor windows, to right, have shutters. First floor window to left is under shallow eyebrow dormer. 6 panel door to right of centre, is under wood lintel. Thatch roof to left and Collyweston and Welsh slate roofs, to right. Brick and stone stacks at ridge and end. 3 straight fronts indicate 4 possible building periods. Gable, to right, has one leaded casement. Right gable has 2 horizontal sliding sash windows and remains of pigeon holes in gable. Rear similar. Interiors not inspected, but probably has remains of open fireplace.
