Description

Row of 6 cottages. Of several probably C18 builds. Coursed limestone rubble with some brick dressings to attic windows, thatched roof brick ridge and left-hand end stacks. No. 6 is of one storey, the others of one storey and attic. No. 6 has a central C20 door with 2-, 1- and 2-light windows to either side (the single-light windows in blocked doorways). Low lean-to addition to left with pantiled roof. Nos. 8 to 16 have mostly C19 board doors and 1-, 2- and 3-light small-paned casement windows with wooden lintels to ground floor and each cottage has two 2-light small-paned casement eyebrow dormers. Nos. 12 and 16 have county firemarks and openwork timber porches. Interiors not inspected.
