Description
House. Probably C17. Coursed limestone and ironstone rubble, wood shingle roof, brick stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys; 4 bays, gabled bay to left. Doorway in third bay from left has C20 timber porch and plank door with wood lintel. 2-light casement window with wood lintel to right. One-light window with wood lintel in left bay. 3-light casement windows with wood lintels in second and third bays from left on ground and first floors. Small 2-light casement window with wood lintel in second bay from right on the first floor. Carriage entrance to full height of right bay has wood lintel and double plank doors. Interior: stop chamfered spine beams. Original roof structure. Open fireplace with bread oven (blocked).
