Description
Houses of 3 storeys. C18. No 8 has cleaned and repointed coursed rubble with steeper stone slate roof. Band between 1st and 2nd floors. 1 window to each storey, hung sashes with glazing bars, stone voussoirs on 1st floor. Modern shop front on ground, old type of cornice. No 10 is later C18, ashlar fronted, brick to side. 2 brick stacks. 2 windows, hung sashes with glazing bars. Band between 1st and 2nd floors. Modern shop. No 12 is late C18. Welsh slate roof, ashlar front. Stone stack. 2 windows hung sash with glazing bars, stone voussoirs. Band between 1st and 2nd floors. Late C19 and modern shop. Passage doorway. No 10 is the highest of the 3. All the listed builings in Market Place form a group.
