Description
Farmhouse, formerly public house. Mid C18. Regular coursed ironstone with slate roof. 3-unit plan. 2 storeys with attic. 3-window range of casements with glazing bars under wood lintels (restored). 2 canted wood bays at ground floor. Blocked door opening between bays has small roundel above with moulded stone surround. Ashlar gable parapets and brick stacks at ridge and end. 2-window range attached to left was originally stable with hayloft over, now part of house. Rear has C19 extension. Originally The Red Lion Public House.
