Description

House, formerly rectory. 1850 by Raphael Brandon. Coursed squared ironstone with limestone dressings, plain-tile roofs, stone lateral and end stacks. Complex plan. Picturesque composition. Gothic Revival style. 2 storeys and attic. Gabled porch with chamfered pointed arched doorway to left of projecting wing with canted bay window. 3-light casement windows to 1st floor with chamfered stone surrounds. Limestone quoins, stone-coped gables with kneelers and gabled timber roof dormers. Interior not inspected. Northamptonshire Record Office; Diocesan papers).
