Description
Former bakery and dwelling, now house and shop. Early C19. Red brick in irregular Flemish garden wall bond, raking stretcher bond to right gable end, slate roof, brick lateral stacks. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys and attic; 4-window range. 4-panel door to right of centre, plank 'stable' door to far left, both with segmental-arched heads and curved metal hoods on iron brackets. Door to right is flanked by shallow segmental bay windows with curved 16-pane sash windows framed by reeded pilaster strips. 12-pane sashes to 1st floor alternating with blank windows, all with segmental-arched heads. Interior: there is no floor between left half of 1st floor and attic thus providing large storage area over bakery.
