Description
House. C18. Brick, tile roof, brick stacks. 2 storeys and attic, 4 bays. Entrance in second bay from left has porch with Tuscan columns and straight entablature. Doorway has moulded stone surround and 6-panel door with overlight and side-lights. 15-pane sash window to left. 2 similar windows to right. Brick string course at first floor level. 12-pane sash windows on the first floor. (Blocked in second bay from right). Stone coped gable ends with kneelers. Wing extending from left, probably C18, altered C19. Coursed ironstone and limestone rubble, tile roof, brick stack. 2 storeys; 3 bays. 2-light casement window with wood lintel in left bay. Sash window in brick surround to right. Similar window with plain stone surround in right bay. 2- and 3-light casement windows with wood lintels in outer bays on first floor. Blocked window with wood lintel in the centre. Interior not inspected. Formerly The Vicarage.
