Description
Cottage. C17. Coursed ironstone rubble, nogged brick cornice, old tile roof, brick stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys and attic. 2 bays with gabled bay to right. Entrance in right bay has moulded wooden doorcase with corner roundels, flat hood on scroll brackets, and 4-panel part-glazed door. 2-light casement window with wood lintel to left. Oriel window in 3 stone brackets above, has moulded stone cornice and 2-light wood casement. Dormer with hipped roof and old iron casement. Coped gable end with stack at apex. 3-light casement window with wood lintel to ground and first floor on right side. Interior not inspected but said to have open fireplace. Stable adjoining to left, C19, coursed squared ironstone, rebuilt in brick at rear, tile roof, brick stacks. Three 3-pane windows with wood lintels and brick jambs on side facing road. Interior not inspected.
