Description

House. Late C17. Datestone in right gable, P(?)A/1694. Remodelled early C19, datestone in right gable of rear block, 180(2?). Coursed squared ironstone, old tile roof, flanking brick stacks. Double pile plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3 bays. Central doorway has moulded wood architrave and 6-panel part-glazed door with overlight. C20 round window in moulded stone surround to right. 3-light windows with wood lintels and C20 wood casements in left and right bays. Similar windows to outer bays on the first floor. 2-light casement window with wood lintel in centre. Nogged brick cornice. Coped gable ends with kneelers. Rear, faced in brick and rendered early C19, has ornamental cast-iron verandah of this date. Interior not inspected.
