Description
House, now offices. Probably C16, remodelled C18 and C20. Regular coursed limestone with C20 plain tile roof. Originally 2-unit plan. 2 storeys. 3-window range of C20 casements at first floor under wood lintels. Ground floor re-fenestrated C20 with 2 bow windows and door to right. Ashlar gable parapet to right has kneelers and square gabled finial. Rebuilt diagonal brick stack to right has original stone base. Interior: entrance hall has open fireplace with fine carved bressumer depicting birds interlaced with leaves. Moulded beam above has castellated top. Room to far left also has moulded beam. Included for group value.
