Description
Shown as Brookbank on Ordnance Survey map. House. Early/mid C18 restored C20. Coursed rubble with thatch roof. Originally 2-unit plan. 2 storeys. 2 window range of C20 casements under wood lintels, some of which are original. First floor windows have shallow eyebrow dormers. Central fire window. C20 door, to No. 30, to left of centre and similar door, to No. 31 (q.v.), to far right. Both doors are under wood lintels, that to far right also has thatch hood. Rebuilt stone stack at end. Single-storey outbuilding attached to left, is similar and now forms part of the house. Rear elevation is similar with some evidence of roof raising. Interior: remains of 2 open fireplaces. Included for group value.
