Description
Shown as Brookbank on Ordnance Survey map. House, now 2 dwellings. Probably early C18 altered C20. Regular coursed limestone with thatch roof. Originally 2-unit, lobby-entry, plan. 2 storeys. 4-window range of irregularly spaced C19 and C20 casements, some with glazing bars, under wood lintels. C20 doors, to far left and right, also under wood lintels. Door to No. 31 is set in angle at abuttment with No. 30 (q.v.). Evidence of blocked central door. Brick and stone stack at ridge. Lean-to extensions to rear. C20 extension to right of main front. Interior: No. 32 has remains of open fireplace and stop-chamfered ceiling beams.
