Description
Public house, now house. Early C18 and C19. Regular coursed limestone with original plain-tile and slate roofs. L-shape plan. 2 storeys with attic. Elevation to road of 2-window range with C20 casements to left in original openings under gauged stone arches, C20 staircase window to right. Ashlar gable parapets with ashlar stacks at end. C19 brick -ingle storey, 2-window range attached to right has C20 door. Elevation to left is similar with casements under wood lintels, now blank. One hipped roof dormer. Rear elevation is similar. Interior has chamfered spine beams, an open fireplace with bressumer and a fireplace with stone surround made up of cills of mullion windows.
