Description

House. Late C17 and C18. Squared coursed and regular coursed limestone with original plain-tile and thatch roofs. House originally 3-unit plan. 2 storeys. 4-window range of 3-light leaded cross windows under gauged stone arches with keyblocks. 6-panelled door with glazed top lights to right of centre has flat wooden hood. Moulded cornice and ashlar gable parapets and kneelers. Brick and stone stacks at ridge and end. One-window range of leaded casements attached to right links to 2-storey thatch barn and outbuildings. First floor casement to far left and right. Three C19 and C20 doors, 2 with wood lintels and central C20 garage door. Ashlar gable parapets and brick stack at ridge. Rear elevation to road has C19 lean-to's, some leaded casements and two 5-light stone-mullioned windows. Interior not inspected but noted as having some ceiling beams and panelling to the hall.
