Description
Public house. Early and mid C18, restored C20. Regular coursed and squared coursed limestone with C20 plain tile roof. Originally probably 3 unit plan. 4-window range. Two C19 style casements under wood lintels, to left. Sash window, with glazing bars, and canted bay window, to right. C19 style casements, under Lincolnshire dormers, to attic. C20 door under wood lintel to centre. Bay to left is a later build. Brick stacks at ridge and ends. Gable ends have evidence of C20 raising in brickwork. Interior; ceiling beams. Some C20 remodelling, evidence of some original roof structure. Included for group value.
