Description

Gatepier - Early C18. Ashlar. Panelled sides surmounted by lead heralidic animal. Restored to present position in 1972. Originally at Boughton but present position not necessarily original. One of a pair with south gatepier. (The Buildings of England : Northamptonshire 1973, p.110).
