Description
House. Datestone WIR/1687, remodelled mid C18. Brick with ashlar dressings and slate roof. L-shape plan. 2 storeys with attic. Entrance front of 4-window range of sashes under gauged-brick arches, now rendered. 6-panelled door to left of centre has semi-circular fanlight with glazing bars, flanking wood pilasters and open pediment over. 6-panelled door to far right has plain fanlight. Ashlar plinth and rusticated quoins; raised brick string course between floors; dentilled wood eaves cornice. :> arapets and kneelers, brick stacks at ridge and brick and stone stack at end with moulded cornice. C18 brick wall with diagonal patterning attached to left. Wing to rear similar with late C18 French doors. Interior not inspected, but noted as having panelled shutters to ground floor windows.
