Description
Includes Nos. 1 and 2 (Dale Farm Cottage), Wellingborough Road. Farmhouse, now 3 dwellings. Reputedly C17 mainly mid C18. Regular coursed lias with slate roof. T-shape plan. 2 storeys. No. 1 has 3-window range of irregularly spaced casements with glazing bars under wood lintels. Central 6-panel door has rectangular fanlight and reeded wood surround under wood lintel. Corner of left gable has evidence of different build of squared coursed masonry. Brick stacks at ends. No. 2 and No. 31 form a 4-window range of casements under wood lintels to rear of No. 1. Interior not inspected.
