Description

Public house. Mid C19. Brick with limestone ashlar dressings and slate roof. Originally H-shape plan in Tudor style. 2 storeys. Entrance front of 3-window range of 2- and 3-light stone mullion windows with cast-iron lozenge and diamond glazing bars. Central bay has C20 porch. Flanking cross wings break forward with gables, gable parapets and finials. Brick and stone diagonal stacks at eaves and ridge. Stone shield with Griffin head below centre window. C20 interior.
