Description
House. Early C18, with C19 and mid C20 additions and alterations. Ironstone with limestone dressings and C20 pantile roof. Coped gables with kneelers, 2 gable and single ridge brick stacks. 2 storeys plus attics, 5 bays, the openings arranged 1 - 3 - 1. South front has an off-centre C20 door with overlight, and 6/6 sashes to both floors, all with keystoned flat arches. The attic has 5 flat roofed dormers with glazing bar casements. The gables have glazing bar sashes and casements, one on each floor. The rear has an off-centre tent-roofed bay window and to left, a C20 canted porch in the return angle. Above, to left, 3 2-light leaded casements. Interior retains a principal rafter roof. Mid C20 rear wing is not of special architectural interest.
