Description
House, now residential home. Early C19. Regular coursed ironstone and limestone with brick façade and slate roof. Double-depth plan. 3 storeys. 3-window range. Central C20 door and late C19 porch flanked by canted wood bays with glazing bars and simple reeded pilasters. First and second floor sash windows, reducing in height at second floors have glazing bars and flat stone heads. First-floor centre window in shallow arch recess. Ashlar string courses between floors and moulded cornice with parapet above. Ashlar gable parapets and brick stacks at ends. Gable to left has evidence of an earlier hosue. Late C19 extensions to rear with C20 building attached which is not of special architectural interest. Interior: some panelled window reveals and late C19 staircase.
