Description
Farmbuilding range. c.1795, reworking an earlier building. By Sir John Soane. Whitewashed brick with slate hipped roofs. Unusual brick eaves course in part. Single storey ranges with L-plan section on right projecting towards Park Farmhouse (qv). This has double doors and a plank door with 2-light casement either side. To left a stable door and a pair of large double doors in a hipped roof projection. Various small windows to rear. INTERIOR: coved ceiling in central stable section. Part of a significant group of buildings associated with Sulby Hall (dem.c.1948).
