Description

House. Early C18, right bay probably early C19. Coursed limestone rubble, slate roof, stone stacks. 2 storeys, attic and cellar, 3 bays. Doorway in second bay from left with stone lintel. 3-light casement window with stone lintel to right. 3-light casement window with wood lintel to right hand bay. 3-light casement window with wood lintels in outer bays on first floor. 2-light casement window with stone lintel above doorway. Coped gable ends with kneelers, attic dormers with 3-light casements. Blocked 2-light cellar widow on left side with flat stone mullion. Interior: Chamfered spine beams. Stone fireplace in ground floor room has 4-centred arch and carved strapwork surround. Probably brought in as too large for its present position. Wall extending from right side at rear, probably C18. Coursed squared limestone with flat stone coping.
