Description
House. C17/C18. Coursed squared ironstone, tile roof, flanking brick and stone stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys and attic, 2 bays. Stone jambs of blocked doorway to right of centre, flanked by 3-light casement windows with wood lintels. C18 sash windows on first-floor with heads above the level of the eaves. Coped left gable end with kneelers. Wing extending from right side at rear, C18/C19, similar materials, except gable end, which is limestone banded with ironstone. One storey, 2 bays. Has entrance in C20 timber porch with half-glazed door in left bay. Casement window and wood lintel to right and on first floor. Coped gable end with moulded stone stack. Wall projecting from right side at front of house are remains of C18 extension. Squared coursed ironstone, chamfered limestone quoins. Has 2 window openings with moulded limestone frames and keystoned lintels. Interior not inspected.
