Description
Early to mid C19. 2 pairs of houses with chequered fronts of red and pink brick. Welsh slated roofs with brick cyma recta cornice mouldings. Basements and 3 storeys. Each pair has central dummy window and 2 sash windows with glazing bars under flat arches; windows to Nos 8 & 9 flush set with extra window on right, those to Nos 10 & 11 in reveals. 2 storey bay window to No 10 has ground floor curved sides, Doric pilasters, entablatures. 2 pairs of doorways with panelled reveals, reeded Doric pila . es over pilasters, cornices. Coupled trellis porches to Nos 8 & 9. Nos 8 to 18 (consec) form a group.
