Description
House. Datestone R+B/1790. Brick with Swithland slate roof. 2-unit plan. 3 storeys, 3-window range of C19 casements at first and second floor and C19 sashes at ground. Gauged brick arches to all windows. Central C20 door with C19 canopy over. Raised brick string courses between floors. Brick stacks at ends. Datestone in right gable. Interior: Entrance hall has stone flagged floor. Late C18 stair of winders with tall staircase window with arched head. Room to left has open fireplace with C19 fittings. Hall and rooms to left and right have moulded cornices. Exposed fireplace beam in kitchen to rear possibly from earlier house.
