Description
Cottage. Mid-late C18, altered C20. Coursed limestone rubble, C20 ridged tile roof, brick end stacks. 2-unit plan. 2-storey, 3-window range. Central 6-panel door in C20 porch. 2-light leaded casement windows to ground and 1st floors, those to ground floor with flat-arched ironstone heads and keyblocks, those to 1st floor with ironstone sills and wood lintels. Ironstone band at 1st floor level and ironstone kneelers of former stone-coped gables. Interior has chamfered spine beams, bread oven, and shutters. Originally thatched.
