Description

Shown as Manor House Farm on Ordnance Survey map. Farmhouse. C17 origins, C18 and C19. Squared coursed limestone and brick with Collyweston slate roof. Originally probably 2-unit plan, now 3 units. Single storey with attic. 3-window range with 2 C19 casements to centre and left, under wood lintels, and C19 wooden canted bay window to far right. 2 C19 casements, to attic, have stone gablets over. Similar casement, to far right, is set under eaves. Fielded panelled door, to right of centre, is un er wood lintel. Ashlar ridge and end stacks with moulded cornices. Left gable rebuilt in brick. Interior: early C19 staircase with stick balustrade. Remains of C17 fireplace pilaster in store room to left of entrance. 4- and 6-panelled doors and one set of panelled window reveals.
