Description
Farmhouse. Datestone NM/1616 and mid C18. Regular coursed and banded limestone and ironstone with slate roof. Originally T-shape plan. 2 storeys. Main front of 6-window range of C20 casements in original openings under wood lintels and gauged stone lintels with keyblocks. 2 large tripartite sashes to ground floor centre and right also under gauged stone lintels with keyblocks. One bay to left has lower eaves and may have originally been a barn. Main house has ashlar gable parapets and kneelers and brick and stone stacks at ridge and end. Left gable has datestone. Rear similar with two C20 entrances and projecting wing to right of centre. Interior has 2 open fireplaces with bressumers.
