Description

Farmhouse. Datestone 1769. Regular coursed limestone with ironstone dressings and C20 plain-tile roof. Originally 4-unit lobby entry plan. 2 storeys with attic. 5-window range of C20 casements in original openings under flat arches with keyblocks. Central C20 door has similar head. Heads of windows and doors are linked by an ironstone string course. Ashlar gable parapets and kneelers and central brick stack. Datestone above door. Late C18 wing to rear has C20 casements under wood lintels. Interior: rooms to left and right of entrance have open fireplaces with bressumers. Room to left of entrance has early C19 staircase with stick balustrade and wall cupboard with panelled door.
