Description
Barn. C17 or early C18 with later addition and alterations. Coursed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings, Collyweston stone slate roof with coped galbes and truncated later brick stack to left end. Barn has C20 door with overlight, plain board double doors, 2 ashlar-dressed loop lights, and plain board square opening above. Wooden lintels. Addition to left has 3 square openings with wooden lintels, small-paned glazing to ground floor, plain boards above. Stone to south gable, perhaps datestone but now illegible. Interior: 5 bays, collar and tie beam, trusses, roof members re-used and probably not original. Remains of plaster with much graffiti - circular patterns, initials and C18 and C19 dates.
