Description
Cottage. Late C17 with C19 and C20 additions and alterations. Coursed squared ironstone and limestone, C20 plain-tile roof, brick ridge and end stacks. 2-unit plan with one-unit extension. 2-storey, 2-window range C20 glazed door to left of centre with C20 timber hood. A 2-light casement window to right, one-light casement to left, both with concrete lintels. 2 C20 dormer windows. Right gable end has chamfered plinth and is banded with ironstone; 3-light casement to ground floor, 2-light to first floor, both with jambs, lintels and hood moulds of original stone mullion windows. Quoins and stone-coped gables with kneelers. Interior has open fireplace with cambered moulded bressumer and stop-chamfered spine beams. Included for group value.
